From an accountant to a mumpreneur

For the very first time of 3 years plus of working, now finally I am enjoying and satisfied with my job. Beyond satisfied ! I never knew that with doing something that I was not good at all would give me the MONEY satisfaction. Business ! Yes, if say 3 months back someone asked to get into business, I would be the first person to say No! But not now. I am now proud to call myself a businesswoman/entrepreneur/mumpreneur. Bukan apa, some people, when they find out that his/her friend is into business, they would 'run' away. Takut nak dekat, takut kena jadi 'mangsa' beli product dia. Well, that's their problem, their own perception. We as entrepreneurs just doing our job to be successful in life, just like other jobs too.

Previously for 3 years plus, accounting was my job field. During that, I worked in 3 companies. Yes, obviously I lompat-lompat kerja, resume tak cantik langsung. Ada je feeling of dissatisfaction - low-paid income, stressful job. The last job was stressful for me, eventhough the pay was good. More stressful when at the time I was pregnant, I was forced to do the workloads eventhough I was sick. So in my mind I was like - health is more important than money. I quit. I had been applying other jobs, got to a few interviews, but they were unsuccessful. Until like 2 months ago, I got tired and gave up. At the time, my feeling and mind were shifted towards business - what if I run a business. So many things were in my mind - clothing business, laundry, etc.

Oh what a day yesterday! We the TLC (Top Leaders Circle) team were in Publika from 10am til 6pm for the SOHONISTA event.We had a blast of the turnouts who were curious to know more about the team.

So before any further, what is SOHONISTA??

It is a group of small and home office (SOHO) business owners consisting of multi-racial men and women supported by the association.  

The Sohonista association established to promote and support entrepreneurship development programs for small and home office (SOHO) business owners. Programs are focused on educating and empowering SOHO business owners to excel in areas where they are skilled and talented at. The association also acts as a platform to highlight issues and concerns pertaining to the SOHO industry to the relevant governmental bodies.

TLC is proud to be recognized as SOHONISTA and our leader Salha Zain has been named as the SOHONISTA icon! It is such a big honour and this has created a huge platform for us to expand as a team to meet our goal - developing millionaires entrepreneurs.

So, what were there in SOHONISTA yesterday? 

There were business workshops and flea markets participated by many online entrepreneurs. Some of familiar faces were spotted promoting their products during the event - Yasmin Hani, Atilia, Mawi, Ekin. There were also speakers giving their speeches, sharing their experiences and providing useful business tips. Salha Zain was one of the speakers, sharing her ever legendary experience - from only RM14.60 in bank account to a 6-figure income earner. The event was launched by Datuk Seri Shahrizat, who earlier visited all the booths.

Pre - SOHONISTA

In like 7 hours time, there will be a big event for the TLC (Top Leaders Circle) team. It is the Sohonista, which will be held at Publika. We have done some of the booth preparations just now - the goodie bags ! and will continue in the early morning. 

We are so proud to be part of the event which will help us and other organizations (online businesses) to introduce and launch ourselves to the public.
